No stranger to dressed cans, Jane Danger’s LaCroix can cocktail riffs on Don the Beachcomber’s Demerara Dry Float, adding lime, rum and maraschino liqueur to a pink can of Passionfruit-flavored sparkling water.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 1 can passionfruit LaCroix
  • 1 can passionfruit LaCroix
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce cane syrup
  • 3/4 ounce cane syrup
  • 3/4 ounce overproof rum, preferably Plantation O.F.T.D
  • 3/4 ounce overproof rum, preferably Plantation O.F.T.D

Garnish: mint, lime shell or passionfruit shell filled with overproof rum and set on fire, a dusting of nutmeg and a straw.

Directions
  1. Pour out 2 1/2 ounces of passionfruit LaCroix.
  2. Add remaining ingredients directly to the can.
  3. Garnish with mint, lime shell or passionfruit shell filled with overproof rum and set on fire, a dusting of nutmeg and a straw.
