Marley’s Ghost

Pip Hanson, Marvel Bar | Minneapolis, MN

marleys ghost cocktail recipe daniel krieger

One would be inclined to think that the Marley’s Ghost was inspired by the eponymous apparition from A Christmas Carol. But upon closer observation the layering of three types of Jamaican rum suggests it’s more likely an ode to the godfather of reggae, Bob Marley. No matter. This strong Manhattan-like cocktail from Pip Hanson of Minneapolis’s Marvel Bar, is still a winter-warmer with its rum medley and supporting spice from sweet vermouth and Cardamaro.
