Picon Bière

The Picon Bière is France’s version of a shandy based on the now-obscure bitter orange liqueur, Amer Picon. For the most refreshing version, build a crisp beer (pilsner or kolsch are both good options) over homemade Picon and a handful of ice, and garnish with an orange wheel.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 3/4 ounce Amer Picon, DIY recipe
  • 3/4 ounce Amer Picon, DIY recipe
  • 5 - 6 ounces beer, preferably pilsner
  • 5 - 6 ounces beer, preferably pilsner

Garnish: orange wheel

Directions
  1. Build in a Collins glass and garnish with an orange wheel.
