“Good summer drinks are going to the garden,” explains Jane Danger, who pares down her typical tiki palette for this simple end-of-summer drink made with fresh ingredients. Bell and jalapeño peppers are muddled and shaken with tequila, lime juice and pomegranate molasses, for a piquant farewell to the warm-weather season.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 3/4 ounce pomegranate molasses
  • 3/4 ounce pomegranate molasses
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1 cube bell pepper
  • 1 cube bell pepper
  • 1 wheel jalapeño pepper
  • 1 wheel jalapeño pepper
  • 1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila
  • 1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila

Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin and muddle.
  2. Shake and fine strain into a coupe glass.
