Your daily dose of news and happenings from around the drink-osphere:

– For Oregon, especially the North Willamette Valley and pinot noir, 2014 was one of the best wine-producing years on record.

– She Brewing Co., a small craft brewer out of California, has annoyed Budweiser so much with it’s use of the tagline “Queen of Beer,” that Budweiser has filed a notice of opposition, claiming She Brewing’s use of the phrase is “virtually identical” to their own slogan.

The world of Kentucky bourbon steps into the limelight: both NBC and Fox have made announcements stating that shows centering around the world of Kentucky bourbon-making will soon be in the works.

– It’s bound to be a great year for sloe gin makers: due to an unseasonably wet August, tons of sloe berries are ripe for the picking months ahead of schedule.
