For those of you who want a rush of excitement when getting your booze delivered, Southern Comfort has just launched a drone delivery program called SoCo 2Go for one of its whiskey-flavored spirits, Caramel Comfort, reports Eater.
After four years of research and trials, the company has finally secured permits and is asking consumers to sign up via the Southern Comfort website in an effort to determine which cities have the highest consumer demand. While it will only launch in select cities, the brand expects the SoCo 2Go service to be available everywhere by the end of 2015, and hopes to expand the service to allow delivery to the physical location of the customer’s mobile phone by 2016.
