Eater New York has already wrapped up their annual live blog of the shitstorm that is McSorley’s Old Ale House—the historic New York City bar founded in 1854—on St. Patrick’s Day. The bar opened at 8 a.m. and by 8:05 Eater NY reported that every table was already taken and that some arrived at least as early as 6:15 to snag them.

By 10:15 the bar had already erupted in “God Bless America” more than once and multiple people were passing out glow sticks. Despite all of this the bartender described it as, “dead.” Head over to Eater NY for the full, and very amusing, live blog. For those who are curious, McSorley’s will undoubtedly play host to some of the most horrible green coeds anyone could ever imagine until 1 am. [Eater NY] [Image via McSorley’s]
