This drink was adapted from G. Selmer Foughner’s 1935 book Along the Wine Trail. It’s a rare example of a stirred drink that contains juice.  “It’s a Manhattan with a little bit of juice in it,” says Al Sotack.

  • 1/2 ounce pineapple juice
