Appennini Spritz

Appennini Spritz Cocktail Recipe

Admittedly obsessed with the luscious, bitter allure of Barolo Chinato, Adam Bernbach saw an opportunity to introduce the quinine-fortified wine to the classic Negroni Sbagliato template. Here, he switches the traditional sweet vermouth element for Cocchi’s Barolo Chinato and matches it to the wine-based red bitter Cappelletti. The cocktail borrows its name from the chain of mountains that run the length of peninsular Italy, the Appenines.
