Baby, You’re Driving

Rob Krueger, Extra Fancy | Brooklyn

True to Extra Fancy’s none-too-fancy philosophy, Baby, You’re Driving is simple and refreshing in equal measure. And it’s an easy-to-remember recipe of equal parts, to boot: slightly spicy bison grass vodka, Lillet, grapefruit liqueur and lime.

“The name of course implies that this drink is too good to put down,” explains Krueger. “But, in fact, it’s relatively light, so you can safely have a couple without melting away on a hot day.”

Serving: 1

  • 1 ounce bison grass vodka, preferably Żubrówka
  • 1 ounce Lillet Blanc
  • 1 ounce grapefruit liqueur, preferably Combier Pamplemousse
  • 1 ounce lime juice

Garnish: mint sprig and orange peel star

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish.
