Calvados & Tonic

Sarah Morrissey, Ernesto’s | New York, New York

The simple combination of Calvados and tonic may not be as popular stateside as it is in France, but Sarah Morrissey hopes to change that, pointing out how refreshing, bitter, sweet and boozy it can be. “I especially like using the Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic in this drink for its notes of ginger and vanilla,” says Morrissey. “It enhances the apple flavor of the Calvados—plus, it’s pink.”
