Ingredients
Serving: 1
- 3/4 ounce tequila, preferably Milagro
- 3/4 ounce mezcal, preferably Ilegal
- 3/4 ounce red chile–infused Aperol (see Editor’s Note)
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 3/4 ounce pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce agave nectar
- 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Garnish: dehydrated lime wheel
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice.
- Strain into a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel.

Red Chile–Infused Aperol
Steep 2 to 3 red chiles (or more, if desired) in 750 milliliters of Aperol for 24 hours. Strain.
