Jeff “Beachbum” Berry discovered this cocktail in a 1937 notebook of original Don the Beachcomber recipes, kept by bartender Ricardo Santiago.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 2 ounces rhum agricole, preferably Clément Rhum Vieux Agricole V.S.O.P.
  • 1 1/2 ounces Don's Mix (see recipe here)
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
  2. Shake until chilled.
  3. Pour into a tiki mug, topping with additional crushed ice if needed.
