Ideal to satisfy a thirsty crowd at a holiday gathering, this quick, build-in-the-glass Old-Fashioned tweak substitutes the required sugar for Frangelico. “I try to think of it as a sweetener, more than a spirit,” says Amor y Amargo’s Sother Teague. Already cold weather-friendly, the Italian liqueur’s hazelnut flavor goes nicely with the cinnamon and cocoa notes found in Angostura and mole bitters, respectively.
