Frozen Batidas

Dale DeGroff, The New Craft of the Cocktail

These Brazilian milkshakes are made in many flavors; choose your favorite fruit puree or nectar. This recipe appears in both the 2002 and 2020 of Dale DeGroff’s cocktail guide.


Serving: 1

  • 2 ounces cachaça
  • 2 ounces tropical fruit puree or nectar
  • 1 ounce sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ounce simple syrup

Garnish: grated nutmeg

  1. Blend all ingredients with ice.
  2. Pour into a stemmed glass.
  3. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
