Ivy Mix, Leyenda | Brooklyn

In this tall drink, mole bitters brighten and enhance, adding an aromatic element to the combination of rum and blanc vermouth, while complementing the cinnamon and spiced notes of Don’s mix.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 1 ounce blanc vermouth, preferably Dolin
  • 1 ounce blanc vermouth, preferably Dolin
  • 1 ounce white rum, preferably Banks 5
  • 1 ounce white rum, preferably Banks 5
  • 1/2 ounce lemon
  • 1/2 ounce lemon
  • 3/4 ounce Don's mix (1:2, cinnamon syrup:grapefruit juice)
  • 3/4 ounce Don's mix (1:2, cinnamon syrup:grapefruit juice)
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 dashes mole bitters, preferably Bittermens
  • 2 dashes mole bitters, preferably Bittermens

Garnish: lemon wheel and mint sprig

Directions
  1. Shake all ingredients apart from soda water.
  2. Strain into a Collins glass and top with soda.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a mint sprig.
