Mamie Taylor

The Moscow Mule's likely predecessor.

Named for singer and actress, Mayme Taylor, this (inexplicably) misspelled drink, a combination of Scotch and ginger beer, was a popular cocktail throughout the first half of the 20th century and likely inspired the creation of the Moscow Mule.

  • 2 ounces Scotch
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
