Mango-Ango-Lambro

The drink world’s frozen wine fixation might’ve started with frosé, but that’s not to say it can’t expand to other corners of the wine rainbow. Here, Claire Sprouse calls on Lambrusco in her Mango-Ango-Lambro, a low-proof interpretation of a New Orleans-style frozen mango Daiquiri.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 5 ounces Lambrusco
  • 5 ounces Lambrusco
  • 1 cup frozen mango pieces
  • 1 cup frozen mango pieces
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish: mint

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig.
