Naked and Famous Cocktail Recipe

Joaquín Simó created this modern classic while working at New York’s Death & Co. in the early aughts. A rare equal-parts recipe, the drink reads like a cross between a Last Word and a Paper Plane with a smoky mezcal base.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 3/4 ounce mezcal, preferably Del Maguey Chichicapa
  • 3/4 ounce mezcal, preferably Del Maguey Chichicapa
  • 3/4 ounce yellow Chartreuse
  • 3/4 ounce yellow Chartreuse
  • 3/4 ounce Aperol
  • 3/4 ounce Aperol
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice

Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice, cover and shake well.
  3. Strain into a coupe glass.
