This “wetter” version of the stylized New Orleans Martini reflects Maison Premiere’s palate and the reigning Martini aesthetic of the early 2010s. It appeared on the bar’s opening menu during this period; this version is featured in the forthcoming Maison Premiere Almanac (Clarkson Potter, spring 2023).

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 2 1/4 ounces London dry gin, preferably Hayman’s
  • 2 1/4 ounces London dry gin, preferably Hayman’s
  • 1 ounce dry vermouth, preferably Dolin
  • 1 ounce dry vermouth, preferably Dolin
  • 6 dashes preferably La Muse Verte
  • 6 dashes preferably La Muse Verte

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.
  2. Add ice and stir to chill.
  3. Strain into a chilled Martini glass.
  4. Express and discard the lemon twist.
