Peppy Skinos Cocktail

Greek bartender Michael Menegos uses pink peppercorns to capitalize on the earthiness of Greece’s earthy mastiha spirit, bringing a whole new layer to this deceptively simple sour.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 1 1/3 ounces skinos mastiha spirit
  • 1 1/3 ounces skinos mastiha spirit
  • 2/3 ounce vodka (or gin)
  • 2/3 ounce vodka (or gin)
  • 1/3 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 15 pink peppercorns
  • 15 pink peppercorns
  • 1 dash orange bitters (or Peychaud’s)
  • 1 dash orange bitters (or Peychaud’s)

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well.
  2. Double strain into a coupe glass.
