Pink Lemonade à la Playboy

Talia Baiocchi and Leslie Pariseau

Pink Lemonade Cocktail

In the 1971 edition of Playboy’s Host & Bar Book by Thomas Mario, a recipe for a boozy pink lemonade peers out between a Pineapple Mint Cooler and a Pink Rum and Tonic (don’t ask). A rosé-based approximation of Playboy’s kitschy blueprint, this drink adds Giffard’s pink grapefruit liqueur for extra depth and texture. Soda water gives it that all-important sparkle.
