Inspired by the myth of Persephone, daughter of Zeus and the harvest goddess Demeter. Hades, king of the underworld, abducted Persephone to become his bride. This drink is essentially a margarita variation, with shrub swapping in for the triple sec.
Queen of the Underworld

Ingredients
Serving: 1
- 1 3/4 ounces reposado tequila
- 3/4 ounce pomegranate shrub recipe
- 1/4 ounce lime juice
Garnish: lime wheel
Directions
- Add all ingredients but garnish to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake hard to blend the ingredients and dilute the cocktail.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and add garnish.
