The saltiness of the plum combined with citrus results in a complex, thirst-quenching cocktail capable of holding its own when paired with food.
- 1 1/2 ounces vodka
- 1 salted plum, rinsed
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 3 sugar cubes
- soda water, to top
Garnish: lemon wedge and Amarena cherry
- Muddle plum, lemon juice and sugar in a pint glass.
- Add ice and vodka, then shake.
- Strain into Collins glass with ice and top with soda water.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge and Amarena cherry.
