“This oolong tea is straight-up O’Keefe floral magic,” says Annie Williams Pierce of the base for this toddy rendition. “Think notes of creamy peach, rose, pistachio and lime.” The addition of amontillado sherry and Nonino add warming hints of toast, salt and nuts for balance and complexity.


Serving: 1

  • 3/4 ounce Amaro Nonino
  • 3/4 ounce amontillado sherry
  • 1/4 ounce agave syrup
  • 8 ounces hot oolong tea, preferably August Uncommon Dark Iris Oolong Tea

Garnish: star anise pod

  1. Combine all ingredients in a tempered mug and stir.
  2. Garnish with an star anise pod.
