This modern classic is a slightly bitter spin on the Hemingway Daiquiri, with tequila standing in for rum, and Campari taking the place of maraschino liqueur.


Serving: 1

  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila blanco
  • 3/4 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1/4 ounce Campari

Garnish: lime wheel

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  3. Garnish with a lime wheel.
