Building on a base of chamomile-infused Scotch, Benjamin Smith’s Sleepwalker is an ideal antidote to cold weather blues. Though it was inspired by the posset, a historic British milk drink curdled with wine or ale, this modern variation quite closely resembles an eggnog, to which a measure of Averna lends welcomed bitterness.
