In this elegant Martini variation, pear eau de vie, Cocchi Americano and Mathilde Poire liqueur scrimmage in place of the usual vermouth. A drop of eucalyptus extract adds a touch of mystery—something every good Martini ought to have.

Ingredients
Serving: 1
- 1 3/4 ounces Beefeater gin
- 1/4 ounce pear eau de vie
- 3/4 ounce Cocchi Americano
- 1 teaspoon Mathilde Poire liqueur
- 1 drop Terra Spice Company Eucalyptus Extract (see Editor's Note)
- 3/4 ounce water
Garnish: lemon twist
Directions
- Bottle all ingredients and freeze until cold.
- To serve, pour into a chilled Martini glass or coupe and garnish with a lemon twist.
