“This is our Italian spin on the Vesper,” says Mike Trow. In addition to mixing vodka and gin, it also mixes rich ambrato vermouth with bracing dry vermouth.
- 1 1/2 ounces gin, preferably Garnish Island gin
- 3/4 ounce vodka, preferably Basic vodka
- 1/2 ounce Martini & Rossi Ambrato vermouth
- 1/4 ounce Dolin dry vermouth
Garnish: baby basil leaf
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled.
- Strain into a Nick & Nora glass.
- Garnish with a basil leaf.
