A stone’s throw from the tourist trap of Pigalle, Artisan is a spare Scandinavian-esque space complete with wood floors, exposed concrete walls and menus printed on brown paper. But the minimalist decor belies the complexity of the drinks. The menu’s small plates are as creative as the cocktails, including battered and fried leeks (a classy alternative to onion rings) and top-notch charcuterie.
