Prolific restaurateur and chef Mark Hix opened Mark’s Bar under his eponymous Soho restaurant, Hix. With lounge-y chesterfield couches, sleek decoration and a billiards table, it feels like something transported from early aughts New York. The cocktail menus were created by oddball London bartender Nick Strangeway, and crafted to pair with Mark Hix’s British “bar snax.” Libations draw heavily from British lore and historic texts.
