After a redesign, Boka has found new life with a sleek, monochrome design peppered with quirky details. Disembodied ebony hands hold small candles, oil paint portraits of debonair woodland creatures fill the walls, and if you can find it, there’s an extremely convincing oil painting of Bill Murray. And though the room has changed, the wine menu still offers a solid selection of good values and a smattering of off-the-beaten-path gems. A hearty selection of spirits and digestifs round out the menu’s spirituous side, and the staff are well-versed enough to help you navigate the deep whiskey list.
