In the unlikely location of Bell, a working class neighborhood southeast of downtown, is Corazón y Miel: a modern Mexican-influenced restaurant from Eddie Ruiz, a former line cook at Animal. You won’t find any enchiladas or tacos here—you’re more likely to come across pork rillettes with pickled vegetables, or a two-pound El Salvadorian turkey leg sandwich. To go along with that, there’s an incredibly fun tequila and mezcal-heavy bar program.

ProTip
As this is just about the only place around Bell that serves a legit brunch, Corazón y Miel is no holds barred when it comes to the most important meal of the week.
