Daniel Radcliffe Is on the Wagon

Always polite and unusually candid, actor Daniel Radcliffe (best known for his decade-long role as Harry Potter) discusses his issues with alcohol for an upcoming UK television program according to The Guardian.

Worried about his impending success or failure follow the Harry Potter film series, Radcliffe admits to seeking solace in shutting himself up and drinking alone. He was quoted in a 2012 interview saying, “I’d stay in my apartment for days and drink alone. I was a recluse at 20.”

The actor stopped drinking in 2010 and has since appeared on Broadway and in a number of films including Kill Your Darlings in which he played Beat poet Allen Ginsburg. [The Guardian] [Image: Flickr/Dave Catchpole]
