South London pub Conquering Hero has long welcomed Vietnamese pot-bellied pig Frances Bacon as its resident pet, but lately Bacon has been boozing it up a little too much, says Modern Farmer. The four-year-old pig has been known to steal sips from patrons’ beers, but after a customer gave the pet its own drink, Frances was cut off. It turns out that the pig is a mean and—sometimes—violent drunk head butting patrons legs.
Owners Ian and Vicky Taylor-Ross, who run the pub, have vowed to keep Bacon on an all vegetarian diet after she started making a habit of snagging peanuts and pork bar snacks. Happy detoxing, Frances. [Modern Farmer][Photo: Flickr/k.ivoutin]
