Cookies For Kids’ Cancer will be hosting its “Chefs For Kids’ Cancer” Benefit on February 23rd at The Waterfront in New York City. The event—which benefits research for childhood cancer—will include a cocktail menu designed by Clover Club and Flatiron Lounge owner Julie Reiner. She’ll be using spirits exclusively sourced from small batch distilleries in New York State.

The benefit will bring together 36 award-winning chefs including Alex Guarnaschelli, Christina Tosi, Andrew Carmellini and Michael Anthony who will each prepare a multi-course meal for individual guests’ tables. Reiner’s cocktail menu will include her signatures, the Gin Blossom, Prospect Park Sour and Texas Sunset made with spirits from Bootlegger 21 distillery. Along with donating spirits and beer to the event, Brian Facquet and the team at Bootlegger 21 are constructing a custom 12-foot bar just for Chefs For Kids Cancer.

While the event itself may be sold out, you can support Cookies For Kids’ Cancer by making a donation, purchasing cookies online or hosting an event in your area. Best of all, you can even recreate one of Julie Reiner’s cocktails at home—the classic Gin Blossom (recipe featured below).
