Red Beer

A South Dakota barroom staple.

Add tomato juice to the Midwestern Beertini and you get South Dakota’s Red Beer, which draws parallels to the Michelada—minus the spice.


Serving: 1

  • 8 ounces beer, preferably Busch Light, Coors Light or Grain Belt
  • 4 ounces tomato juice
  • 4 to 5 green olives

  1. Combine beer and tomato juice in chilled mug and gently stir.
  2. Add in green olives.
