Brandy Fix

No one celebrates the fix—simply a sour served over crushed ice—more prominently than Richard Boccato’s Fresh Kills in Williamsburg. Robert Simonson chose this off-menu version as one of his top cocktails of 2017.


Serving: 1

  • 2 ounces brandy
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup

Garnish: lemon wedge

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin and dry shake without ice.
  2. Pour into a chilled double rocks glass over crushed ice.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
