I’m a Loner, Toddy, a Rebel

If you’re not lucky enough to be standing in Prague’s Old Town Square and snapping photos of the astronomical clock, this is the next best thing on a cold winter day, explains Brian Bartels of this Becherovka-based take on a toddy.


Serving: 1

  • 2 ounces Becherovka
  • 3/4 ounce honey syrup (1:1, honey:water)
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 3 1/2 ounces hot water

Garnish: lemon wheel

  1. Combine the first three ingredients in a coffee cup.
  2. Top with hot water.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
