A lesser-known modern classic from Sam Ross, creator of the Penicillin and Paper Plane. The drink is essentially a Boulevardier with mole bitters added into the equation, though Ross was unaware of the existence of the Boulevardier at the time of its creation.

Ingredients
Serving: 1
- 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
- 3/4 ounce Campari
- 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth, preferably Carpano Antica Formula
- 2 dashes mole bitters
Garnish: cherry
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled.
- Strained into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
