Originally created at El Floridita bar in Havana, the Daiquiri #2 dates back to the 1920s and sees the addition of both orange Curaçao and orange juice in addition to lime.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 1/2 ounce orange Curaçao
  • 1/2 ounce orange Curaçao
  • 1/2 ounce orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice

Garnish: orange twist

Directions
  1. Pour ingredients into shaker filled with ice cubes and crushed ice and shake
  2. Fine strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
  3. Garnish with orange twist.
