Kryptonite Daiquiri

This seasonal take on the Daiquiri uses fresh rhubarb juice in place of lime to cut down the drink’s carbon footprint.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 1 ounce white rum, preferably Bacardi Carta Blanca
  • 1 ounce rhubarb juice (see Editor's Note)

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin and shake with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupette.
Editor's Note

Rhubarb Juice:
Put the fresh rhubarb through a juicer. Adding a sprinkle of vitamin C powder will stop the liquid from browning.
