Jeffrey Morgenthaler created this drink circa 2011; it also appears in his The Bar Book tome. Why does Drambuie get top billing in this tiki-style drink? “Many herbal liqueurs do well in tropical drinks,” Morgenthaler notes. “Drambuie is certainly in the same family as Bénédictine, yellow Chartreuse, Galliano, etc.”
