Buenos Aires’ old-school bar traditions stay alive with cafés notables (historical cafés) like Los Galgos, which was recently revitalized and refurbished after it shuttered in 2015. Owner and bartender Julián Díaz reopened the 90-year-old bar to create a multi-generational aperitivo meeting point. There’s always vermouth and aperitivos rotating on tap, like Los Galgos Panky, a riff on the Hanky Panky.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 2 ounces Cynar 70
  • 1 ounce Aperol
  • 1 ounce Cinzano Bianco

Garnish: orange slice

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a Collins glass over ice
  2. Garnish with orange slice.
