Vanilla Infusion Spray

Miguel Lancha uses this vanilla and vodka infusion, spritzed on top of a finished drink, to bring out the natural vanilla notes of barrel-aged spirits that might otherwise be masked in a cocktail.

  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 vanilla beans, split

  1. Steep the split vanilla beans in the vodka-water mixture for several hours, or until the desired aroma is achieved.
  2. Strain and funnel into an atomizer bottle.
