No one’s sure who came up with the Ferrari, a potent 50/50 split of Fernet-Branca and Campari, but Fox Liquor Bar in Raleigh has welcomed it into their family of favorites nonetheless. It’s a popular industry drink, and while it’s usually taken as a shot, it has enough balance to be sipped slowly (stick it in the refrigerator first to chill it down) or used in amaro-friendly cocktails.
To make a large batch to have on-hand for cocktails, combine 8 ounces each Fernet-Branca and Campari and chill for one hour in the refrigerator before use.
