At Houston’s The Pass & Provisions, head bartender Stuart Humphries takes a thoroughly modern approach to his Golden Handcuffs cocktail, pairing Swedish punsch with Aperol and pineapple rum for a bittersweet spirituous drink.

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 1 ounce Plantation Pineapple Rum
  • 1 ounce Plantation Pineapple Rum
  • 1 ounce Aperol
  • 1 ounce Aperol
  • 1/2 ounce Swedish punsch
  • 1/2 ounce Swedish punsch
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Garnish: Aleppo dusted orange wheel

Directions
  1. Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass.
  2. Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
  3. Garnish with Aleppo dusted orange wheel.
